Understanding printing is essential for you to be assured that your hard copy will appear as it does on your monitor. Also that your image is displayed online in a way that allows you to send it quickly and for others to view it. Factors like image optimisation, image sizing and file formatting, colour profiles and monitor calibration all needs to be understood. Although understanding printing sounds very technical, like everything if explained effectively – it is simple.
